Wednesday Qigong Class

Baduanjin, a famous Qigong set.
The practice of Qigong stems from the Daoist art of Daoyin. This non-martial practice focuses on building the health of the body, while developing Qi through the application of intent and breathing. Qigong offers martial artists a root for strengthening and building their health for training and combat, while the average person gains many benefits in awareness, improved breathing skills, meditation, focus, and physical conditioning of the internal ligaments, tendons, and tissues. This practice is often likened to yoga, but is unique in that it is accessible to everyone, and a practitioner's growth is only limited by their dedication, and not by their injuries, flexibility, or physical ailments.

Our Wednesday Qigong group offers anyone who attends a chance to calm their heart, find their center, and begin building their body's health from the root up. Covering sitting, standing, and walking practices, classes are structured in single-session practices, or blocks of classes covering entire sets.

Anyone is welcome to join in on our Wednesday Qigong Class, from 4:30PM-5:30PM. At $10.00 per class or a full month for $30.00. Those who are already enrolled in one of our other programs are discounted 50% off the Qigong classes if they wish to attend this in addition.

Class structure will generally involve a brief sitting meditation, loosening the joints stretch, Zhanzhuang (Standing Post), & then a focus Qigong Set or practice for the class. Students are welcome to stay and practice previous Qigong class material afterwards, while the Wudang Martial Arts class begins at 5:30 following.

Any questions, feel free to email the instructor (Info@SpringAndAutumn.com) or call (407) 279 - 1533. Also, you can view our complete schedule on our School Calendar.
